Today I would like to hear your thoughts on today readings in Aesop's Fables. We read two stories today. "The Tortoise and the Hare" has a protagonist that wins through steady hard work, while the quick, proud, and over confident antagonist loses through carelessness and a "can't possibly lose" attitude. And in "The Wolf and the Stork, the protagonist helps an untrustworthy and decidedly "evil" antagonist by risking it's own life and receives nothing in return other than "not being betrayed".
What do you think of our characters? What lesson is there to be learned from each story? do you believe the lesson is right?
